Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how KeyFeed: RSS Keyword Radar ("KeyFeed", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the KeyFeed iOS app and the website at keyfeed.codemxm.com (collectively, the "Service"). KeyFeed is designed to be local-first: your feeds, rules, and match history stay on your device by default.

1. Summary

KeyFeed does not require an account. We do not sell personal information. The app stores the feeds, keyword rules, match history, preferences, and optional backups on your iPhone or iPad unless you choose to export data or enable optional features such as webhook delivery.

2. Information stored on your device

KeyFeed may store the following locally using on-device storage such as SwiftData and UserDefaults:

3. Information KeyFeed fetches from the internet

When you add a feed URL, KeyFeed requests that RSS or Atom source directly from the publisher or hosting provider so it can check for new items and evaluate your keyword rules. KeyFeed only fetches feeds you configure.

If you enable KeyFeed Pro webhook automation, match payloads (such as title, source, URL, context, and matched terms) are sent to the HTTPS endpoint you provide.

4. Purchases and entitlement validation

KeyFeed Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate purchase entitlements and unlock Pro features. RevenueCat and Apple receive transaction-related information according to their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment card number.

5. Notifications and widgets

If you allow notifications, KeyFeed displays local alerts on your device when a keyword rule matches. KeyFeed does not use app-icon badge permission. Widgets read match summaries from shared on-device app data through Apple’s App Group container.

6. Website analytics

This website may use privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. Analytics, if enabled, are intended to respect visitor privacy and do not require creating a KeyFeed account.

7. What we do not collect by default

KeyFeed’s App Store privacy nutrition label reflects a no-tracking design. By default, KeyFeed does not:

8. Data retention and deletion

Match history retention can be configured inside the app. You can delete feeds, rules, matches, snapshots, and backups from the app or by removing KeyFeed from your device. Exported files you save elsewhere remain under your control.

9. Children’s privacy

KeyFeed is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International users

Because KeyFeed stores monitoring data on your device, you remain primarily in control of that data. If you choose webhook delivery or contact us by email, information you send may be processed to provide support or operate the Service.

11. Your choices and rights

You can manage feeds, rules, notifications, exports, and webhook settings in the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we receive when you contact us directly.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes to how KeyFeed handles data will be reflected here.
